Deadlines

October 15 for Fall Graduation

March 15 for Spring Graduation

June 15 for Summer Graduation

Procedures

Step 1: Make an appointment with the counselor for an official graduation check before the graduation application deadline.

Step 2: To apply for graduation submit a completed Application for Associate Degree, Certificate of Achievement, or Academic Subject Certificate Form (also called the graduation application form) to the Kekaulike Information and Service Center in 'Ilima 102. The form is available at the Kekaulike Information and Service Center.

Students who do not submit their appliction by these deadlines may not have their names printed in the KCC Commencement Program.

Special Restrictions:

AA/AS/ATS/CA English Diploma Only ($15.00 fee)

AA/AS/ATS/CA English & Hawaiian Diploma ($30.00 fee)

Academic Subject Certificate ($15.00 fee)

Step 3: From April 01, 2007 to May 16, 2008, report to the KCC Bookstore to purchase your monarch blue cap, gown, tassel, collar (for women), and pick up formal graduation invitations. Cost for cap and gown is $26.00 (subject to change).

Step 4: Commencement Ceremony at Kapi'olani Community College will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 6:00 PM at the Great Lawn on KCC campus.

Step 5: Diplomas are available at KISC in 'Ilima 102 approximatley two months after the end of the semester. KISC will contact you via email or regular mail indicating when diplomas are available.
