| Program Overview
With over 5,000 not for profit organizations registered in Hawaii, it is imperative to have continuing education opportunities available to support the management needs of the not for profit sector. Community-based consultants and not for profit sector professionals will teach the classes in a collaborative learning environment. The Not For Profit Management Certificate program offers 8 core classes. In order to receive a Not For Profit Management Certificate, participants must successfully complete all eight modules. **Attendance is required, as well as an evaluation either through a final project (please refer to attendance section following description of last module).
Who Should Attend
New or aspiring Executive Directors of small to midsized not for profit organizations, staff, board members and certain management staff of larger not for profit organizations may benefit from one or all of the class offerings. There are no specific requirements for admission to this program although previous college work is an advantage. The classes are tailored to 501 (c)(3) Not for Profit organizations.
