Kenny Endo and the instructors of the Taiko Center of the Pacific teach you traditional and contemporary Japanese drumming.  Choose from classes for children and adults in the Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced levels.  This fall, FAMILY TAIKO is being reinstated by popular request.. There are two seven-week sessions in Fall 2008:  Session I – September 4 to October 21, 2008 and Session II – October 23 to December 11, 2008.  Sessions are $88 for youth classes and $100 for adult classes.   Please wear comfortable clothing to all classes.  Bring Taiko sticks (available at the first class meeting for $12).  A bottle of water for your own consumption is optional.  Indoor foot wear is also recommended and available for sale on the first day of class.  Enrollment is limited.

Youth Advanced Taiko (Ages 6-17)

This course is for youth who have successfully completed Performance Training Taiko for Youth or have previous Taiko experience.  Review of basic form, exercises, movement, philosophy, etc. is on-going.  Class is geared to develop and polish ensemble drumming, technique, form, and performance skills.  Instructor’s permission required for enrollment.   Enrollment is limited.
