The Digital Art Society of Hawaii (DASH) encourages and supports all fine artists melding their traditional disciplines with digital imaging. DASH is proud of its eclectic and accomplished membership of professionals and will continue to provide a melting pot for ideas and interests to all visual artists. Guest speakers and presentations, show and tell, exhibition opportunities and technical advice are prominent components of the monthly meetings. The monthly DASH newsletter and E-mail exchanges keep DASH members apprised of the latest information on the arts and artists. If you are a fine artist and compelled to expand your creative horizons, DASH would like to welcome you to explore us. DASH meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in Kopiko 202 and are free and open to the public. New Media Arts offers a coordinated series of non-credit and credit classes. Our Fall 2008 courses include classes in the well-known and comprehensive digital imaging software program Photoshop, as well courses in selecting and using a digital camera, travel photography, documenting life using photos, studio lighting, Webpage making, and digital imaging. All classes are held in the New Media Arts PCATT Lab in Kopiko 202.

Customized Training in New Media Arts

Kapi‘olani Community College can develop non-credit courses and workshops specifically designed to meet the needs of your company or organization. Our customized training is a cost-effective and convenient way to enhance an employee’s knowledge and skills. We design the curriculum and materials for instruction and arrange all sessions.  Customized classes meet either in the New Media Lab on campus or on-site, where employees learn in their workplace environment.
