Explore Flamenco Workshop: An Introduction to Flamenco Dance

Learn the basics of Flamenco dance, including compas (rhythm) and body and arm movement. All levels of dance ability welcome. Character shoes, or low-heeled ballroom dance shoes are recommended; full skirts for the women suggested.

Instructor: Monica, a guest teacher from San Francisco, who has been described by Dance Magazine as "technically brilliant," is an experienced, professional Flamenco dancer and instructor who has performed in many fiestas throughout Southern Spain.
