Basic Photography |
| Learn the basic principles of photography whether you're shooting film or digital. Learn about camera controls such as aperture, shutter, light meters, lenses, filters, and more. The basics of lighting and composition are also covered. A single lens reflex camera (SLR) with manual override is required for shutter and aperture settings. Digital camera users must use outside lab for prints or personal laptop for reviewing photos. Film camera users may use Black/White photo lab for developing film and printing during class time. Bring camera and operating manual to the first class. Students are responsible for their own photographic supplies. A list is provided at the first class and will be posted on the KCC website.
